Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Nibbs Chocolates and Desserts?
Nibbs Chocolates and Desserts is an artisanal chocolate pop up shop specializing in hand crafted chocolate bonbons and small desserts that make a big impression. Founded in 2021 by partners Lindy and Jeff.
Where are you located?
We currently prepare all of our products out of a shared commercial kitchen, the Kitchen Council, located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This means that we do not have a physical storefront that is open to the public (yet!) We are primarily a pop-up shop that sells direct-to-consumer. To receive your order, we offer local pick up at the Kitchen Council and we also offer delivery to the surrounding areas in Omaha and Council Bluffs.
Where else can I find Nibbs Chocolates?
We have a number of local retail partners that are regularly stocked with a variety of our products! Check out one of these local businesses near you:
- Godega Market - Old Market
- Heirloom Fine Foods Market and Cafe - Millwork Commons
- Sheelytown Market - Hanscom Park Neighborhood
- Blooms - Rockbrook Village
- Ellsworth Crossing - Waterloo, NE
You can also find us out and about at our pop up events! Check out our events page for upcoming pop up dates. For additional updates and information on events, follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Do you offer shipping?
During the colder months, generally October through March, we are able to ship our chocolate items anywhere in the United States. When shipping is available, we ship through the USPS using their flat rate boxes. Shipping prices are subject to current postal rates.
Do you offer any gluten-free or vegan items?
Most of our chocolates currently contain soy and milk ingredients. Depending on the flavor, some chocolates will contain wheat or nut ingredients as well. We will notate this, along with other possible allergens on the product listing and physical packaging. If you have any questions regarding the ingredients we use, please do not hesitate to contact us!
We do our best to include a GF/V friendly alternative to our items when possible. However, if you are interested in a consistent stream of gluten-free and vegan baked goods, we are happy to recommend two of our friends from the Kitchen Council. Veg.Edible, now with a storefront in Benson, specializes in both gluten-free and vegan options! They go the extra mile to offer options that are nut-free, and sometimes soy-free. We are also happy to recommend OCookieOs which specializes in gluten-free, high protein cookie donuts with vegan and low sugar options available. Delicious with your morning coffee, and available at over 15 locations around Omaha and Council Bluffs!
